WTF, Inc. Events Manager
WTF is currently looking for a part-time, volunteer staff member to join our team in the position of Events Manager. The Events Manager supports the Foundation by coordinating event operations and volunteer care and recruitment. If you’re a natural born leader with experience navigating type-a personalities, knowledge of resources available to first responders, veterans, military members, and their families, and would love to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team, this position might be for you!

Position Expectations:
You will be…
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Overseeing the scheduling and recruiting and training of Road Task Force Managers and volunteer teams.
Communicating with WTF Board members and volunteer team members, with direction from the Director of Marketing and Communications, to champion vision and leadership development.
Reporting on event issues and be available to assist with solutions as needed.
Recruiting team members to join future projects.
Be able to work each assigned event, as needed, up to 10 hours during the week remotely.
Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Experience and Background:
6+ years of cumulative experience and education proving successful with marketing, outreach, and customer service experience.
Experience with working independently and leading teams remotely.
Microsoft and or Google Suite experience required.
