WTF, Inc. Content Creator
WTF is currently looking for a part-time, volunteer staff member to join our team in the position of Content Creator. The Content Creator supports the Foundation by content creation. A successful candidate desires to create a long term relationship with WTF and has some skills in graphic designing. If you’re a natural team player with experience navigating knowledge of resources available to first responders, veterans, military members, and their families, and would love to be a part of a dynamic and innovative team, this position might be for you!

Comfortable writing engaging content for blogs, ebooks, case studies, video scripts, infographics and other assets?
Able to work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging, branding and style that will compel the picture of the vision and strategy of WTF?
Able to edit content to ensure voice, grammar and style is accurate and make good and timely decisions that keep the organization moving forward?
Consistently meeting and exceeding expectations, even under the toughest of circumstances?
Known for building strong relationships and delivering customer-focused solutions?
An effective communicator, both in oral and written forms, while understanding the unique needs of different audiences?
Capable of staying up to date on industry trends to support content development and able to rebound quickly from setbacks and adversity even when facing difficult situations?

Position Expectations:
You will be…
Reporting to the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Working with the Director of Marketing and Communications, you will be responsible for developing a library of content assets to be used on social media. Assets will range in length but will primarily feature short-form video content. Basic direction will be provided, however, if you are able to provide social strategy and what types of content is needed, that is highly encouraged.
Communicating with WTF Board members and volunteer team members, with direction from the Director of Marketing and Communications, to champion vision and leadership development.
Reporting on event issues and be available to assist with solutions as needed.
Recruiting team members to join future projects.
Be able to work each assigned event, as needed, up to 10 hours during the week remotely.
Other tasks as deemed necessary by the Director of Marketing and Communications.
Experience and Background:
2+ years of relevant experience.
Portfolio showcasing social content examples (primarily video).
Social strategy and insights experience is a plus!
Must have own computer and programs.
Experience with working independently and remotely.
Microsoft and or Google Suite experience required.
