"Rember Your Sacrifice, Live For Theirs!"
Director of Operations
Danielle Lee was born in Wenatchee, Washington in August of 1982. Her dad joined the Navy when she was only three weeks old and served for over 21 years. As the eldest daughter, she experienced firsthand what dependents go through when a parent leaves for combat deployments. Sacrifice was an attribute embedded into her character from an early age and would later be something she would have to endure as an adult. In 2002, as her father was transitioning out of the military, she married Keola, a United States Marine. She met Keola when she was only 19 and began a deeper journey of the meaning of sacrifice. In 2004, she was left alone in the hospital, the day after their first child was born because Keola had to deploy. Danielle and her husband have now been married for over 21 years and have three beautiful teenage children. Together they have endured 8 deployments. Danielle has collectively endured 14 deployments. She has a huge heart for serving others, and a passion for supporting the veteran community, first responders, and their families.
Her professional background involves:
She facilitated communication between commands (her husband has been attached to) and their families. She assisted the Family Readiness Officer with his duties and displayed exceptional interpersonal skills by effectively communicating with hundreds of families and establishing different methods of creative and innovative communication strategies.
Most importantly, she oversaw family support services for over 2000 Marines and sailors and improved the organization’s communication strategies between the active-duty members and their families by increasing its efficiency and effectiveness. Danielle continues to improve organization’s brand through disseminating information on key priorities, tasks, available resources, and future events for family members every where she goes.
